The Birth of Drug Diversion Detection Automation – Part 3

Research is moving forward with the review of drug diversion software solutions provided by BlueSight (Kit Check), Flowlytics (Invistics), HealthSight (BD), HelioMetrics, Omnicell Analytics, and Protenus. In addition to connecting with the vendors, I have begun the interviews with clients. Before making purchase decisions, we all like to hear from clients in order to confirm the product is as good as the vendor says it is, or at least get the real story regarding shortcomings. Then we can decide if those solution shortcomings are something we can live with and make our decisions with eyes wide open.

In my interviews with clients, I will be asking them to rate their satisfaction with their current solution on a scale of 1-5.  I am asking if they would recommend it and what the learning curve was. Different clients may have different experiences depending on their EHR, ADM, or even IT resources. Their experiences won’t necessarily be what you experience, but it will be a gauge you can use in the decision making process. See below for the complete list of questions. See Part 2 of this series for the list of vendor questions. I would really love to hear from you if you are willing to share your experiences. Sharing your experience with me will be sharing with the pharmacy community as a whole. Email me at tvidals@rxpert.solutions.
